This first video's phrase was transcribed from the tune "Wee" off Scofield's CD entitled "En Route". <br /><br />About the Jazz Guitarist's Signature Series: Each lesson checks out the improvisational style of a prominent artist within the history of jazz guitar. This is done through a brief transcribed riff, most likely played over a persisting harmonic cadence (eg. II-V-I).
